THE BAND

GYPSY EYES consists of 3 San Diego veteran musicians who love and grew up on the music of Jimi Hendrix. Jimmy Lewis On Guitar and lead vocals was most notably the lead voice and guitar of the San Diego heavy progressive, blues-based trio, SUPERUNLOADER. Chad Farran was the drummer and multi instrumentalist of SUPERUNLOADER and many solo releases. Rounding out the trio is Christian Schinelli, bass player with DIRTY SWEET, a San Diego hard rock favorite! GYPSY EYES’ attempts to honestly and respectfully play the popular and obscure cuts from the HENDRIX canon, without detracting from the musical performance by dressing and acting like The EXPERIENCE! So with eyes open, or closed,In the words of the man himself ( kind of ),” Not necessarily a Tribute Band , but....... Beautiful !”
